Yesterday night, I stopped by an article about Near Death Experiences (or simply NDE), I found testimonies of some people who have experienced a NDE, they say they've found themselves advancing in a black tunnel towards a blinding light...
This gave me the idea of this piece :)
The end of the tunnel is defined by the golden light by the left corner of the pic, the other spots of light are wisps I added to stress the fantastic aspect of the scene...
The use of chaotic lightning, physical shading and ditorted textures is meant to put a veil of mystery over the scene, adding to the global context some realism...

This is awesome. I love the inspiration behind it. The thumbnail really drew me in, and the picture itself certainly does not disappoint. The more I look at it the more the little things like the texture and subtle composition stand out. Very interesting and well done piece!
